Track Marking
STEP
- I
Calculating of maximum Length and Width required for
Athletic track
400 meters and 200
Meters track marking formula
Method of Find out the total area required for
a 400Mts track by using the following formula.
Total area= Total length X
Total Width
Total length = One Straight + 2CDR +(No. of
lanes X width of the lane)
Example: Total Length =40mts
+ (18.89x2= 37.78) + (12 x
1.22=14.74)
=92.52 meters.
1.
One
Length of the straight
= 40 mts
2.
1 (one) CDR is 18.89 meters so 2 CDR (Curve
Distance Radius is) 2x 18.89 meters = 37.78meters
3.
No
of lanes (6 Lanes x2=12 x 1.22 Meters) 12x1.22 = 14.74meters.
Construction for 200 meters’
Non-standard track need to total length in the site of the ground is need for
full straight is 92.52 meters.
Total
width=2CDR + (No. of lanes X width of the lane)
Construction
for 200 meters’ Non-standard track need to total length in the site of the
ground is 92.52meters.
Example:
Total Width=(2x18.89) + 12x1.22=14.74)
Example
of show the picture how to calculate and for finding the total
width
1.
2
CDR (Curve Distance Radius) 2x18.89 = 37.78 No of lanes (6 Lanes x2=12 x 1.22
Meters) 12x1.22 = 14.74 meters.
Construction
for 200 meters’ Non-standard track need to total width in the site of the
ground is 52.52meters.
Total area need for 200 meters
Non-standard track lay out
Total Length X Total Width
92.52X52.52 = 237.56 square meters
STEP– II
Visit and choosing the site for construction suitable area and
direction.
STEP- III
Measure the area for the track required Total Length and Total width
in the site
Note: Measure
the total area length and width given below steps
1st Stretch
the measurement tape A to B
2nd Stretch
the measurement tape C to D
3rd Stretch
the measurement tape E to F
4th Stretch the measurement tape G to H
STEP - IV
Stretch the straight line through the marking of the mid field in
centre point of the track
Note: 1st Start the track marking
with measurement tape from midpoint of the land
2nd stretch the straight line from point “O” to
point A
3rd stretch the straight line from point “O” to
point B
